How to Edit Columns in Roadmap?

Hey Hellonext user 😄! First time using Roadmaps of your Dashboard? Are you wondering how to add more columns to your Roadmap for better productivity among your team? Well, look no further, we are here to make your life easy! Just follow these simple steps and let us know in case of any queries!

Hellonext Roadmap contains three columns by default, Planned, In Progress, and Completed. But now, you can edit columns as you wish! You can extend your roadmap with five columns or concise it even with two columns.

How to edit columns in your auto-generated roadmap?

  1. Log into your Hellonext account.

  2. Access your Admin dashboard and navigate to the “Roadmap” section.

  3. There, you can find the “Edit Columns” option on the top right of your Roadmap view.

  4. Clicking on it will reveal the On/Off toggle and the “Name Edit (pencil)” button on each card. You can a maximise it to five columns or minimise it to Two columns its absolutely your wish.

    • Enabling the toggle next to the column will save it for the general Public View (i.e., for users who come into your organization). This means that anyone with access to the internet will be able to have a look at the Roadmap column you've selected.
    • Disabling the toggle will remove the column from your Roadmap. (ie) it will not be visible to the public unless you enable this colum
    • You can also change the Name of the card according to your specific product’s timelines.
  5. Lastly, click on “Save” on the top right once you are happy with your roadmap columns.
